Cambria Co., PA (WJAC) — Cambria County court officials confirmed that an area pest control worker who was caught on video urinating inside a local family's living room has entered a plea in the case.
Officials say Roger Young appeared in court earlier this week where he pleaded guilty to one count of disorderly conduct.
Authorities note that the charge was downgraded to a non-traffic citation, and his other charge of criminal mischief was withdrawn.
Police say Young was originally charged in early May following an investigation into an alleged incident at the Haida Village Apartments, in Hastings Borough.
Authorities say on April 24th, Young was reportedly contacted to spray pesticides inside one of the apartments.
Investigators say, a few days later, the tenants reportedly reviewed their home surveillance camera, which allegedly showed Young urinating on their couch and other belongings.
Upon further investigation, police say they reviewed the video as well, which reportedly showed Young enter the apartment and proceed to "torment" the tenants' cats.
Police say the video then shows Young set down his pesticide container, look around and walk towards the couch, at which time he begins to urinate on it.
Authorities say the video shows Young continue to urinate on the tenants' carpet and other belongings, before looking up and spotting the camera.
Police say Young later admitted to the incident, telling investigators that he "messed up and was having a bad day."
Court officials added that Young was also ordered to pay over $4,300 in restitution to the family, as well as additional fines and court fees.
