Elk County coroner Michelle Muccio-Krise has identified the victims of Saturday's deadly fire at a home in Saint Marys.

Officials say Donald and Susan Mahovlich, who were both in their late 60s, reportedly died from smoke inhalation.

Emergency officials say crews were dispatched to the blaze, located along Jackson Road, around 8:15 a.m. Saturday.

Officials with the Crystal Fire Department said the house was fully involved by the time crews arrived on scene and stated that the roof later began to collapse.

The coroner's office says their deaths have been ruled accidental.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
